Anston Cricket Club

WELCOME TO THE PLAY-CRICKET SITE OF ANSTON CRICKET CLUB

Anston Cricket Club was formed in 1919 and has four seniors teams in the Championship, 3rd, 5th and 8th divisions of the Bassetlaw League. We have a women's team, which plays in the White Rose Development League. We also have a team in Division 6 of the Mansfield Sunday League.

Our junior teams play in both the Bassetlaw and Sheffield Junior Leagues and we run teams for all ages ranging between Under 9's up to Under 17's. To give the Under 11's the opportunity to experience as much cricket as possible we are also part of the Bassetlaw Kwik Cricket League. All work at the club is undertaken on a voluntary basis. Equipment and ground maintenance are financed through subscriptions and fund raising.

We encourage families to join the Club as social members and join in with Club activities. The Clubhouse is available for hire for a wide variety of functions or as a venue for meetings or presentation nights.

We are proud of our coaching record and some of our former juniors have gone on to play at much higher levels. Our current 1st XI boasts a majority of players who joined us as juniors and who now play serious competitive cricket.

Anston Cricket Club has now been awarded the Sports England Clubmark award, which only a handful of clubs have been accredited within the County.

Anston Cricket Club have an existing site at www.anstoncc.co.uk
